I am a recent alumni from The Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating with a B.F.A. in Film and Television, May of 2011. I live in Atlanta, GA and am a freelance videographer/editor.
I am drawn to the entire visual aspect of film - from framing and camera movement, to lighting, color schemes, and production design. I love to be behind the camera. I've been the cinematographer on several projects while at school, including two senior thesis films, a documentary, and other independent narrative shorts (example work from these films can be found in my cinematography reel).
Technically speaking, I am skilled with industry-standard equipment - having worked with professional lights, cameras, and grip equipment during my time at school. I am experienced as an A.C., and am comfortable with both film and digital cameras. Having taken elective courses such as Cinematography and Digital Cinematography, I'm practiced with the RED One, RED Scarlet, BlackMagic Cinema Camera, Canon 5D MkIII, MkII, 6D, 7D, Panasonic HVX 200 and DVX 100 camcorders, as well as the super 16mm Arri 416 and Arri SR2. I'm most interested in finding set work as an A.C. or camera team P.A.
As far as post production, I'm familiar with the work-flow involved in HD footage, and have four years of experience using Final Cut Pro. I enjoy doing freelance work, and have the tools necessary to take an idea from script to screen.
